BM Europe has a vast amount of engineering tools (EJMA calculations, FEA analysis, pressure  / temperature simulations, 2 and 3D drawing facilities,…) to design the optimal product. These tools are combined with the experience and knowhow of our engineering department.


Our stainless steel hoses are designed and tested acc. EN ISO 10380:2012. On many properties this stainless steel hose exceeds the standard.



Depending on the most important design parameters, (diameter, material, number of plies, …) the metal hoses and bellows will be shaped by elastomeric forming, hydraulic forming or roll forming.


Combining these bellows or hoses with the other components (connections, tie rods, …) will result in the finished product.


Our large and flexible assembly facilities allow BM Europe to make customized products within short lead times.

Welding Technology

BM Europe uses state of the art welding techniques. Couplings of the metal hoses are welded inside and outside single run with the highest accuracy and efficiency. The result is less downtime and a longer life time for the final product.


The stainless steel expansion joints and hoses are always assembled according to our approved and permanent welding procedure. These welding procedures are certified by an accredited body.


For welded tube and pipe shall follow the standard EN ISO 15614-1. All our welders are qualified in accordance with EN ISO 9606-1 and ASME IX

Testing & Certification

After a visual test, the welded assembly shall be subjected to a pneumatic test. Using air , the assembly is immersed in a bath of water for a sufficient length of time to allow visual examination of all fabricated joints. Any evidence of leakage or permanent deformation can cause a rejection.


Unless otherwise stated by the purchaser the test medium shall be water. The hydrostatic test, it confirms the assembly’s structural integrity. The assembly shall be ressurized with water to the maximum test pressure of the assembly maintained for a sufficient length of time to permit a visual examination. The testpressure shall be 1,5 times the working pressure of the assembly. To avoid corrosion, purified water is used.
